Perfect hotel for getaway I spent my birthday her and would do it again.

The spa is amazing the treatments and the atmosphere. I loved the roof top bar that was really nice to have in your hotel and cocktails was lovely. I had a junior suite room, it was spacious and very comfortable we had a big balcony which was amazing. Love the swing in the reception.

If i had to find a fault- Breakfast needs more of options.

Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of variety. The made to order omlettes were delicious. Room was perfect.

Wonderful

Everything was of good quality for a four-star hotel. All new and well-decorated, and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good and varied and the swimming pool bar in the roof top of the hotel was great and always open for our needs. The location is quite good as it makes it within walking distance of both Portimao downtown and Praia da Rocha.

Lighting in the room, especially in the bathroom, could be better. Also, I stayed on the ground floor close to the lift, so it was quite noisy, especially if you want to stay in bed until late.

Clean, spacious room with large beds and bathrooms, close to nearby beach areas

Very nice hotel in a great location near Praia Da Rocha, and walking distance to downtown areas. Excellent breakfast buffet with large selection of items. Room was well appointed with large sink and shower. We visited in late September so the vibe was chill and not crowded. Rooftop pool and bar area were very nice.

Our room was located on the 3rd floor, directly under the rooftop bar, so we heard every note of the band until 11:30 PM. Would definitely recommend asking for a lower floor on the side *away* from the pool/bar. Also the process for checking out pool towels was laughably inconvenient (retrieve from the basement spa (when open); return to basement spa within 24 hours, etc). Be sure to retain your return receipt to ensure you're not charged for them by accident (we had no problem but could see that it might be).

The spa shoud have more emphasis on massage. I talked to other couples and everyone said (including us), that they were expecting massage more focus on actual massage, mor tense not just soft and relaxing.

Great stay, ideal for couples.

Stunning hotel, everything put together really nicely. Comfy beds and excellent room facilities.

Towel service, had asked to swap a beach/pool towel due to a spillage and was told because it’s outside certain hours (which are really early) that I wasn’t allowed swap, so had to deal with having a dirty for an extra day until the towel collection window opened.

Spacious room, huge bathroom. big balcony and nicely styled. Worth paying a little extra for the larger room with lounge area. Excellent breakfast. Loved the infinity pool. Accessible car parking. Central 20min walk to beach. Friendly staff

Gravel (small stones around the deck chairs) these got onto the deck around the pool and in the pool) very painful to walk on. I cut my foot. Suggest you change to artificial turf or some other alternative.

The availability of the sun beds at the pool is limited and it is hard to find any especially in morning. Afternoon/evening hours are ok but then it is very windy on the roof (where the pool is).

Perfect for a couples weekend away!

Superb, clean, food was lovely, breakfast was varied! Staff were so friendly, especially Carlos in the restaurant! Champagne and decorated room for our anniversary!

Wasn’t an on site shop, only 5mins walk away though, but wasn’t open late!

Our second holiday together - superb!

The hotel was modern, clean and the Recepton staff were very accommodating. As we arrived, we were offered welcome drinks i.e.. water, fruit juice or tea/coffee. Breakfast was excellent, a wide selection of cereal, fruits and meats and freshly squeezed orange juice. The affinity pool was superb with a great view of Portimao harbour. The location of the hotel was good; if you turned left out the hotel you could head for Portimao and right you could walk to Praia da Rocha beach (lovely beach; sea is freezing though). The hotel did offer a shuttle service to take you to/from Praia da Richa, which was very handy.

Only minor items that I didn't like. The gravel that the sunbeds near the pool were on, think it was supposed to simulate sand, but it didn't work for me. It was uncomfortable to walk on and got stuck between your toes! Also, we ran out of coffee pods in our room and they wanted 1 euro 80 for additional ones.

Good value for money

The room was comfortable, the AC worked well, the breakfast was good (very English with the baked beans and etc haha), the pool was nice, but the nicest thing for us was the pool bar, it was really cozy during the sunset. Overall, it was a good stay.

The place is around 20 minutes walk from the center. Not a problem though, but some nights we were too tired to walk and took the Uber.

Very Good

Loved our room and view as well as the rooftop pool! Stunning views and day beds. It had a great vibe with the Afronation festival happening and guests in attendance staying there. The staff were really friendly and made sure we always had what we needed.

We weren't impressed with the food or the fact that you could only order from 12pm on the rooftop. The menu options weren't open to be changed or amended based on preference by the chef.
